Complaints

Privacy concerns can be raised directly with Magnet Speech Pathology. If unresolved, complaints may be lodged with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

NDIS Participant Rights, Consent, and Data Security

Magnet Speech Pathology respects the privacy and confidentiality rights of NDIS participants in line with the NDIS Practice Standards. Participant consent is obtained and recorded for the collection, use, and disclosure of personal and health information, including telehealth sessions, reports, and funding-related communication. All electronic and paper records are securely stored, with access restricted to authorised staff only. In the event of a privacy breach or data incident, Magnet Speech Pathology will follow NDIS and OAIC guidelines to respond promptly and notify affected participants as required. Our privacy practices are regularly reviewed to ensure ongoing compliance and protection of participant information.
