Magnet Speech Pathology & Health Services

These Terms and Conditions outline how services are delivered and help ensure clear expectations for families. By engaging with Magnet Speech Pathology & Health Services, you agree to the following.

Service Delivery

All speech pathology services are provided via telehealth using a secure video platform. Therapy is evidence-informed, individualised, and goal-focused. While we strive for meaningful progress, specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed due to individual differences.

Telehealth Services

Telehealth may not be suitable for all children. Clinical judgement is used to determine appropriateness. Sessions may occasionally be impacted by technology or internet issues beyond the control of the therapist. Families are encouraged to set up a quiet, private space with a stable internet connection to ensure sessions run smoothly.

Appointments and Cancellations

Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice. This allows other families to access available session times and ensures efficient use of our highly experienced therapists.

If a session is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time, or if the child does not attend, the full session fee will be charged. Families are encouraged to contact Magnet Speech Pathology as soon as possible if unexpected circumstances arise. In genuine emergencies, exceptions may be considered at the discretion of the therapist.

Note: All services are delivered via telehealth; face-to-face appointments are not offered.

Fees and Funding

Fees are payable as outlined in the current fee schedule. Magnet Speech Pathology accepts NDIS plan-managed and self-managed funding. Families are responsible for ensuring sufficient funding is available at the time of service.

Reports and Communication

Assessment reports, letters, and additional documentation may attract separate fees. Communication outside scheduled sessions is managed within professional boundaries, including email and phone response timeframes.
